Librado Wright has been working as a salesman since graduating from college, when he discovered his talent for sales. Helped by a degree in communications from Temple University, his skills at talking to people and creative problem solving made him the perfect fit for a lasting career in sales. He began balancing the more lucrative sales work with his passion for sports journalism, but as his career advanced he began to focus more on sales. Throughout his career journey, he has kept his faith in God and believes that this has helped him to get through many tough days and difficult moments in work.
The focus and determination that are required for sales have been drawn from his faith. Knowing that there is a larger plan, it is easier to hone skills and advance your career without worrying about outside forces. Romans 8:28 “All things work together for the good to them who love God, to them who are called, according to His purpose” has become the motto for his life, and has led him to reach incredible heights in his work. The confidence that results from this knowledge and belief will set you on a path that allows you to reach your maximum potential, just as it has for Librado Wright.
Passion for service and generosity have always been a large part of his life, but through his faith he is able to volunteer and share his belief with the youth of Jamaica by teaching at Sunday School each week. He prepares lessons, builds relationships and becomes a positive role model through this work. Sharing his voice and wisdom is something that is important to him, and he hopes he can inspire others to follow in his footsteps. This voluntary work at Sunday School brings a sense of fulfillment and relaxation that work cannot replicate, and which inspires him to work harder and help the community.
In work, faith is not an obstacle but a form of support. Relying on the word of God has helped Librado Wright to climb the career ladder and manage others more effectively. He makes rational, generous decisions for employees and always has a moral compass to guide him in his work. Now working as the general manager of a call center in his home town Kingston, Jamaica, his faith is stronger than ever and he believes that helping others through his work is his calling.
Librado Wright has attained the ideal balance between faith and work. He uses each aspect of his life to support the other, and this ensures that he maintains a broad perspective on life and work. Religion and faith have allowed him to find the job he has now, and to complete studies to gain the skills he needed for work.
